The internship is open to undergraduates, graduate students, or recent grads who are excited about our mission and able to commit 20-30 hours of work per week on a pro-bono basis.  Interns work on projects as part of a geographically distributed team while staying in close contact with the Archimedes Project team through regular calls and our online collaboration system.

All interns are expected to be intelligent, independent thinkers with strong organization and writing skills. While the work of each internship is designed with the specific interests of the intern in mind, we will be looking for two to three interns to fit broadly into the following position descriptions.

Brand Development Intern will assist the Archimedes Project in making a major shift in branding and communication strategy in order to better express our vision, services and accomplishments. An ideal candidate is interested in marketing strategy and brand development. Graphic or UX design experience is a plus but not necessary.

Storytelling Intern will work on article-style writing about the field of social enterprise and the work of the Archimedes Project and assist in developing our communication strategy. An ideal intern is an enthusiastic writer with a deep interest in social good organizations, who can think creatively about ways to engage existing and new audiences in our work.

Research Assistant will undertake social enterprise research related to the Archimedes Project countries of focus. An ideal intern is excited to delve into the global social enterprise ecosystem and has a familiarity with global development, social enterprise or business.

Business Development Intern will contribute to the development of new initiatives and undertake research related to the organizational, financial, and legal structure of the Archimedes Project’s ongoing and future operations. This position will provide the opportunity to engage in activities related to nonprofit management, lean startup, base of the pyramid for-profit business design, and program development.

Photojournalism Intern will travel to the fellowship country to produce video and photographic stories about our summer fellows. An ideal candidate is excited about visual storytelling for international development and is an experienced international traveler.
